Basketball Recap: Red Jacket Victorious

On Tuesday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Red Jacket made off with a 52-51 win over the Holley Hawks.

Red Jacket got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tim Brown out in front who went 7 for 17 en route to 18 points and five boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least a third of Red Jacket's points. Another player making a difference was Truman Hill, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Red Jacket smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.

Red Jacket's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Holley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
