Pelham came out on top against Sanborn Regional on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Pythons were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Indians. The Pythons haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Jake Davidson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nick Muise, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI.

Pelham pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sanborn Regional, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pelham will face off against rival Hanover at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pythons 3.2, the Bears 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
