It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Livermore can now relate to. They fell just short of the Campolindo Cougars by a score of 28-26 on Friday. Despite 153 more yards than the Cougars, the Cowboys couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Matteo Lortie threw for 304 yards and four TDs. CT Harper was his top target, picking up 107 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Campolindo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Parker out in front who rushed for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. What's more, Parker posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September. Another signal caller making a difference was Reid Habas, who threw for 116 yards and one touchdown.

Livermore's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2. As for Campolindo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Livermore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Campolindo, they will take on Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Parker and Jhadis Luckey.
