Softball Recap: Stevenson Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Stevenson won the last time they faced Glenn and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans blew past the Rockets 15-4. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by ten runs or more this season.

Stevenson's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Glenn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Stevenson will face off against Walled Lake Western at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.56 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Glenn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cass Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
