Baseball Recap: Panther Valley Takes a Loss

Panther Valley came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-4 to the Pottsville Crimson Tide.

Panther Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Pottsville, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panther Valley will host Nativity BVM at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pottsville, they will welcome Blue Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Crimson Tide's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
