Soccer Game Preview: River City vs. Vacaville

The River City Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Vacaville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River City will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Vacaville better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when River City really get things going. River City put the hurt on Wood with a sharp 4-1 win on Wednesday.

River City hit Wood with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Stypin, Daniel Kuzmenko, Nicolas Cabrera-Macias, and Justin Salazar.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Vacaville's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. Neither they nor Vanden could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Bulldogs happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 7th.

Vacaville's draw gives them a new season record of 11-1-3. As for River City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-3.
