Basketball Recap: Airport Comes Up Short

Airport came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Huron Chiefs, falling 59-38. The Jets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 59-51.

Airport has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points over those games. The victory was the third in a row for Huron, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

As of now, neither Airport nor Huron have any future games scheduled.
