Baseball Game Preview: Berkner Rams vs. MacArthur Cardinals

For the second straight game, Berkner will face off against MacArthur. The Rams will square off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Berkner didn't have quite enough to beat MacArthur and fell 3-2.

For MacArthur's part, their victory was truly a team effort as nine different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Harris, who went 3-for-7 with one run and one double. That's the most hits Harris has posted since back in April of 2025.

Harris wasn't the only one making solid contact: MacArthur kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

MacArthur is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Berkner, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
