Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Eagles vs. East Palestine Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, the Valley Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-32 win over East Palestine at home. The win was nothing new for Valley Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, East Palestine had strong showings from Kyler Bourne, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds, and Owen Jurjavicic, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.

Valley Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for East Palestine, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will take on the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Palestine, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m.
