After losing to Roosevelt the last time they met, Woodridge decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Woodridge Bulldogs came out on top against the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 72-61 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Several Rough Riders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sevyn Jones, who went 5 of 6 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. What's more, Jones also posted a 83% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Jaden Dennison was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Woodridge's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Coming up, Woodridge will challenge Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Copley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
