Volleyball Recap: New Hampstead Takes a Loss

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jenkins Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Emily Carter was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 assists and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jenkins, they moved to 8-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

New Hampstead has already played their next game (against St. Andrew's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jenkins, they will face off against Liberty County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
