Brunswick Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors get on the board and left with  a   14-0  victory  on Wednesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Olivia Ann Evans made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Evans was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aubrey Lynn Corum, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Kylie Reed Walker was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Brunswick Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .526. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .346 or higher in four consecutive  games.
Brunswick Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
