Volleyball Recap: Rockingham County Takes a Loss

Rockingham County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Western Alamance Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2020.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-12.

Rockingham County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Western Alamance, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockingham County will head out to take on Eastern Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Alamance, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Providence Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
