Baseball Recap: Indian Hill Triumphs

Indian Hill's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Reading Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Devlan Daniel made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Daniel was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Ben Sichel was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brady Drost, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Indian Hill now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Reading, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Indian Hill is taking a road trip to face off against Madeira at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Reading, they will host Bethel-Tate at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
