Recap: Arlington Admirals vs. Ossining Pride

The Arlington Admirals put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Ossining for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-14 win at home. Fans of Arlington have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Michael Rescigno was a one-man wrecking crew for Arlington as he rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Rescigno's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Chance Moultrie made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

When it comes to explaining why Ossining lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anthony Lofaro. Despite the final result, he rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown.

Arlington's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.7 points per game. As for Ossining, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Arlington will be playing in front of their home fans against John Jay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. John Jay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Arlington is ranked 22nd). Ossining does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
