Basketball Recap: Roxbury Takes a Loss

After flying high against Koinonia Academy last Friday, Roxbury came back down to earth. The Roxbury Gaels received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 49-34 to the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Gaels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 29th).

Roxbury's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Morris Knolls, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Roxbury has already played their next match (against Parsippany Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Morris Knolls also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Mount Olive.
