Recap: Otsego Knights vs. Bowling Green Bobcats
The Otsego Knights had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 38-32 W over Bowling Green on Thursday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Otsego has managed all season.
Otsego's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jocelyn Cornell led the charge by scoring 15 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cornell has scored at least 25% of Otsego's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Lehr, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Otsego's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Bowling Green, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
