Soccer Recap: Walnut Ridge Takes a Loss

Walnut Ridge managed to keep up with Cristo Rey until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Scots came up short against the Cougar, falling 7-2. Walnut Ridge have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Walnut Ridge now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Cristo Rey, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Walnut Ridge will square off against Beechcroft at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cristo Rey, they will challenge Patriot Prep Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
