Crystal River and Hernando are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Crystal River Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Hernando Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Crystal River beat Umatilla 21-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hernando, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in August. They blew past Hollins 54-6 at home last Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Leopards considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Hernando wouldn't let Hollins keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Hernando can thank Michael Brown and Stevontae Hasberry for forcing both of them. Hasberry is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another thorn in Hollins' side was Keaundre Gavin, who picked up three sacks and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Crystal River now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hernando, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
