Soccer Recap: Maywood CES Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Maywood CES was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the King/Drew Golden Eagles could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Melvin Cruz and Max Pulido scored both of Maywood CES's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

With that draw, Maywood CES's record moves to 4-5-1. Meanwhile, King/Drew's record is now 8-5-1.

Maywood CES didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Narbonne on the 26th. King/Drew has also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Animo Robinson on the 26th.
