While Swan Valley put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Bridgeport. The Vikings breezed past the Bearcats to the tune of 48-0. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 26 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jackson Gebauer, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from him.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Swan Valley's defense and their nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Andrew Carter and Kamarriu Granberry, who racked up four sacks between them.

The win was the fourth in a row for Swan Valley, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points over those games. As for Bridgeport, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Swan Valley has already played their next contest, a 36-3 win against Powers Catholic on the 10th. As for Bridgeport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 77-6 defeat against Frankenmuth on the 10th.
