Baseball Recap: Buchanan Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buchanan). They never let the Hoover Patriots get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Monday. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Buchanan's 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Hoover, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Buchanan has already played their next match, an 8-2 win against Oakmont on the 14th. As for Hoover, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against El Camino Real on the 14th.
