Baseball Recap: De Leon Takes a Loss

De Leon was the 7-6 winner over Bangs when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. De Leon fell just short of Bangs by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Max Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

De Leon's record now sits at 9-5-1. As for Bangs, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

While De Leon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
