Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pinelands Regional couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the NV - Demarest Norsemen on Saturday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayda Quigley, who had 21 digs. Quigley has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more digs the last four times she's played. Jayla Kline was another key player, getting 19 digs and two aces.

Pinelands Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for NV - Demarest, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

As of now, neither Pinelands Regional nor the Norsemen have any future games scheduled.
