Basketball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Comes Up Short

Bishop McDevitt lost against Middletown back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middletown Blue Raiders.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Middletown, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop McDevitt will be taking part in a tournament against Central Catholic on Friday. Middletown will take on Eastern York in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Middletown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
