Black Hills had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt WF West on Wednesday. The Wolves blew past the Bearcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 14th.

Lilly Worthen paced Black Hills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Worthen also shared the team's lead in assists with Oralia Mike: they picked up 13 each. Worthen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Black Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for WF West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Black Hills and R.A. Long will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. WF West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
