Basketball Recap: Branford Takes a Loss

Branford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 78-66 to the Cheshire Rams. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 70-67.

Branford's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cheshire, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Branford will take on Hamden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheshire, they will square off against Law at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheshire knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Law likes a good challenge.
