Volleyball Recap: Stark Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stark lost against Somersworth back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals fell just short of the Toppers by a score of 3-2. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stark took Somersworth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 19-25, 22-25, 15-4.

Among those leading the charge was Dominique Boles, who had five digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Stark's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Somersworth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stark is set to square off against their familiar foe Souhegan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Somersworth will challenge rival Manchester West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
