Volleyball Recap: UIC College Prep Comes Up Short

UIC College Prep was the 2-0 winner over Rauner when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Firecats fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Firecats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, UIC College Prep sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 25-21.

UIC College Prep now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rauner, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. UIC College Prep will face off against rival Muchin College Prep at 5:03 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rauner is set to square off against their familiar foe Pritzker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
