Sacred Heart of Jesus had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Azusa Aztecs by a score of 2-0. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aztecs, too.

Sacred Heart of Jesus was led to victory by Isabella Valdez and Riley Sylvester. Valdez had 21 assists and six digs, while Sylvester had eight digs. That's the most digs Sylvester has posted since back in September of 2024.

Sacred Heart of Jesus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive games.

Sacred Heart of Jesus' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Azusa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Sacred Heart of Jesus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Flintridge Sacred Heart on the 16th. As for Azusa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Montclair on the 19th.
