Softball Recap: Westbury Falls to Houston Math Science & Tech in First Game of Season

Westbury unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers on Wednesday, falling 18-8. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Westbury will welcome Stafford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nimitz at 5:00 p.m. on February 20th.
