Fresno Christian picks up 14th straight win at home

Recap: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Sierra Chieftains

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Fresno Christian Eagles walked away with it. They came out on top against the Chieftains by a score of 34-26 on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for Fresno Christian, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Fresno Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Stotts out in front who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns. Stotts was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. Jude Sheppard was another key contributor, gaining 89 total yards and two touchdowns.

Sierra's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brock Cunnings, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Aaron Irvine, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns.

Fresno Christian pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.14 points. As for Sierra, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Fresno Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sierra also has no future games currently scheduled.
