Volleyball Recap: George Washington Prep Takes a Loss

George Washington Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Harbor Teacher Monarchs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 2nd.

George Washington Prep was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Harbor Teacher work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 29-27, 25-19.

George Washington Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Harbor Teacher, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. George Washington Prep is set to take on their familiar foe Locke at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Harbor Teacher will challenge rival Crenshaw at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
