Hale Ray had won nine straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped up to 17-2 to make it ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Hampton Bellringers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Reagan Bean paced Hale Ray's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bean were helped by Olivia Thiele and Carinna Egan, who contributed 13 assists each. Egan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maggie Janecek, each putting up two.

As for East Hampton, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 13, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Despite the loss, East Hampton still got an impressive performance from Grace Flannery, who had six digs and three aces.

Hale Ray has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Old Lyme on the 24th. As for East Hampton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Morgan on the 24th.
