Surry Central came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the North Stokes Vikings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Surry Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mallie Southern, who had seven kills, six aces, and two blocks. Those six aces gave Southern a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caroline Scott, who had nine digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Surry Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Surry Central's record now sits at 11-4. As for North Stokes, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Surry Central will head out to face off against Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Stokes, they will be playing at home against Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
