Volleyball Recap: Hiram Hornets vs. Allatoona Buccaneers
Hiram lost against Allatoona back in August of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hiram Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allatoona Buccaneers. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Buccaneers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17.
Allatoona can attribute much of their success to Sammi Hasbrook, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hasbrook has posted since back in August.
Hiram's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Allatoona, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. Allatoona will head out to face Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hiram will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
