South Elgin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Elmwood Park Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for South Elgin, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.
