Meanwhile, Jefferson came tearing into Tuesday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 52-41. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Vikings are ranked 155th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cherokee Bluff, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-5.
