Volleyball Recap: Izzy Hinz and Morgan Dewald Secure Win for Pontiac + How To Watch

Pontiac waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Lexington Minutemen by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Pontiac never let Lexington on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21.

Leading Pontiac to victory were Morgan Dewald and Izzy Hinz. Dewald had 22 assists and six digs, while Hinz had nine digs. Dewald is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Pontiac's record is now 14-5. As for Lexington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-5.

Pontiac wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. Thomas More on the 30th. As for Lexington, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Heyworth on the 30th.
