Volleyball Game Preview: Gull Lake Blue Devils vs. Lakeview Spartans

After both having extra time off, the Gull Lake Blue Devils and the Lakeview Spartans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Gull Lake not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Central with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Lakeview entered their tilt with St. Joseph on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bears 3-0.

Gull Lake now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Lakeview, their victory bumped their record up to 27-5-5.

Gull Lake came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakeview in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
