Baseball Recap: Colbert Heights Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Colbert Heights finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to the Rogers Pirates. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

Colbert Heights suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Rogers, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Colbert Heights had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
