Baseball Recap: East St. Louis Takes a Loss

If East St. Louis was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Cahokia on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flyers came up short against the Mascoutah Indians on Wednesday, falling 16-1.

East St. Louis has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for Mascoutah, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

As of now, neither East St. Louis nor Mascoutah have any future games scheduled.
