Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mater Academy East Las Vegas). They breezed by the Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals to the tune of 97-22 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won three contests in a row.

Lonnie Bass continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. Bass is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Miles Williams, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 assists.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
