Basketball Recap: John Paul II Catholic Gets the Win

The John Paul II Catholic Saints were able to grind out a solid win over the Columbia Wildcats on Monday, taking the game 46-34.

John Paul II Catholic can attribute much of their success to King Williams, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Lysaght, who earned seven points.

The victory got John Paul II Catholic back to even at 1-1.

John Paul II Catholic and Columbia will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Saints see the court they'll take on Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Columbia, their break will end when they face Perquimans at 7:30 p.m. on December 1.
