Basketball Game Preview: Gilmer County Titans vs. Roane County Raiders

Two dominant guards in Jacob Mick and Cam Cumpston are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Gilmer County Titans will challenge the Roane County Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Gilmer County came up short against Wirt County and fell 67-59.

Meanwhile, Roane County also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Gilmer County by a score of 71-61.

Gilmer County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Roane County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Gilmer County was able to grind out a solid win over Roane County when the teams last played on Wednesday, winning 71-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gilmer County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
