Baseball Recap: Service Cougars vs. Lathrop Malemutes        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Service gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lathrop Malemutes  a   12-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Service as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Landon Martindale was a major factor no matter where he played. He  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Martindale was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Coen Niclai, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.  Sebastian Fournier was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Service's victory bumped their record up to 13-0-1.
 Service will head out on the road to  take on  Chugiak at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Chugiak is on a three-game streak of home wins, Service a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Lathrop does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
