Soccer Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northeast Early College Raiders, falling 9-1. The Buffaloes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northeast Early College, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Florence will face off against Lago Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast Early College, they will square off against Jarrell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast Early College is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
