Baseball Recap: Bishop Alemany Comes Up Short

Bishop Alemany saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They came up short against the Liberty Patriots, falling 13-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Alemany saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Thompson's first of the season.

Bishop Alemany's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Bishop Alemany wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Faith Lutheran on the 22nd. As for Liberty, they will head out to challenge Green Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
