Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Boyd's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paradise, Boyd was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 42-30 victory over the Callisburg Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-27 defeat.

Boyd has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Callisburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8.

Boyd will venture away from home to challenge Ponder at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Ponder will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Boyd surely won't give up without a fight. As for Callisburg, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Callisburg Wildcats duke it out with the Whitesboro Bearcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
