Tompkins is a perfect 3-0 against Fort Bend Austin since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Tompkins will face off against Fort Bend Austin. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Austin won against Dawson on Friday with one goal and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Fort Bend Austin who was credited with the victory. Fort Bend Austin got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Goose Creek Memorial's four. The win was all the more spectacular given Fort Bend Austin's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Goose Creek Memorial are ranked 154th).

Fort Bend Austin's one-goal win came courtesy of Catalina Hamlin-Segura, who's now up to eight this season.

Fort Bend Austin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. Tompkins' win bumped their record up to 20-2-1.
